Is there anything more annoying than some oldie pouring scorn on artists, songs, or music genres that they don't understand? Can you really trust someone whose opinions have remained unchanged for decades? Was music really "better" back in the old days, or has the filter of time simply allowed us to forget about all the rubbish that was released alongside the "classics"?

I've deliberately kept the generation that I refer to with the word "adult" vague here, as it describes a frame of mind, not a birthdate.
