August 18, 2008 - Thank you all for your patience while I've been away. I can't tell you how nice it's been to catch up on all the comic work I've had piling up since my grandma's accident. The good news keeps coming. My grandma's on the mend and doing very well indeed. Thank goodness for that! All extra updates for August will be held over until September as will any extra update goals made from August donations.

I have added photos to the COSPLAY section of the site. There were two Red String cosplayers at Otakon this year. How cool is that?! Normal updates for Red String will be returning August 18th.

August 1, 2008 - Starting MONDAY, AUGUST 4th I will be taking a two week break from Red String. This is for a few reasons. One is that I will be at OTAKON in Baltimore, Maryland on August 8-10. We will be at Artist Alley table A-13, and will be a part of the Women in Webcomics panel Friday, August 8th, at 8PM. This means I need to finish up prep for the con, go to the con, and get back. Also, those of you who follow my LiveJournal know that this past week, my grandmother had a bad fall and I have been taking care of her constantly for a week now. My life has pretty much been on hold since this happened and I need a week off to recouperate and finish up the upcoming chapter. So, Red String will be returning August 18th. All extra updates for August will be held over until September as will any extra update goals made from August donations. Thank you so much for your patience and I look forward to my return with Chapter 29!

July 16, 2008 - Just a quick little reminder that donations are what help keep me working on Red String full time every month. Your help is always appreciated as it allows me to do what I love for a living. More donations also mean more updates because the less I have to work on commissions and other things to try to make ends meet, the more time I can dedicate solely to Red String. On a different note, I will be at OTAKON in Baltimore, Maryland this August!
