The Claw Brake System features the finest calipers in the world. All employ proper road going dust and weather seals making them appropriate for use on streets and highways. These systems are not just a kit; they include everything you will need. If your application requires a master cylinder, hose, or special fitting it is included. Systems requiring hubs not only arrive with the races and studs installed, but are also assembled with Timkenâ„¢ bearings and packed with RedlineÂ® Synthetic grease.
The EXTREME+ calipers are derived from those currently used in the Trans Am race series. These 6-piston, staggered bore, radial mount calipers are machined from solid blocks (billet) of 7075 aluminum and employ 2 bridge bolts for maximum stability and precise modulation. When coupled with a 2-piece Alcon rotor, this system provides absolutely the shortest stopping distances and best repeatability currently available. Although they may have been derived from race calipers, they have full dust and weather seals as do all proper road-going calipers.

The same technology that drives the huge blowers on Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars has been refined by Powerdyne to produce the only belt-driven centrifugal supercharger manufactured today. Utilizing the latest reinforced belts and precision machined drive pulleys, the patented SilentDrive system eliminates the annoying rattles, chattering, whine and reliability problems encountered with conventional gear-driven superchargers.

No Oil Lines! No Oil Reservoir!
With no drive gears to lubricate, SilentDrive eliminates the need to route oil from the engine or a separate tank to the supercharger, which vastly simplifies installation. The absence of hot engine oil allows Powerdyne superchargers to run cooler, thus reducing under-hood temperatures while providing a denser air/fuel charge for increased efficiency and maximum horsepower output.

C&L COMPLETE MAF SYSTEM FOR 2005-06 MUSTANG GT

C & L is pleased to announce ANOTHER FIRST for Mustang enthusiasts. Owners of the cool new 2005-06 GT Mustang will love the complete package that we have developed for these vehicles. So much more than a cold air kit, this is a complete system that truly addresses every aspect of improving the air intake on the all-new Mustang. As a complete throttle-body forward package, the entire factory air intake assembly is replaced with all new components. While others will try to sell a cold air package that consists of a cone filter and an exhaust pipe tube based mass airflow housing, only our package comes with an all-new (patent pending) cast inlet pipe and a CNC machined aluminum mass airflow housing. Dyno testing the 2005 GT has shown that the computer is so sensitive to airflow changes that a computer modification is necessary in order to control the air/fuel ratio at the proper level. Installing this air intake assembly on a 2005-06 GT without any tuning will result in a leaner-than-ideal 14:1 air/fuel ratio. While certainly not lean enough to cause engine durablility concerns, it is leaner than what is desired for optimum performance. Even when replacing the air filter ONLY to a higher flow assembly, the air/fuel ratio leans out at an alarming rate. This means that any 2005-06 Mustang owner who is interested in modifying their new car for better performance will have to use some form of tuning, and we feel that we have found the best solution.

To make things as easy as possible for the end user, we have worked closely with Diablosport to offer a simple computer adjustment and tuning option for the 2005-06 Mustang GT. Effective immediately, all 2005-06 capable Predator handheld tuners will feature a profile setting specific to our new air intake assembly. With this tuner, you will have the ability to not only make the adjustments necessary for the new air inlet assembly, but also control the air/fuel ratio and timing level based upon the octane quality of the fuel that you are using. By simply slecting the octane quality that you will be running in the vehicle, the tuner will automatically re-flash the processor with the appropriate fuel and timing adjustments. Most importantly, what also makes this system superior to other options is that you have the personal capability to make further adjustments in the future to both your air/fuel and timing levels as you make other changes to your vehicle. This means that any changes that you make in the future can be easily compensated for using the tuner without the need to rely on someone else to "re-flash" your handheld tuner. This keeps you from having to rely on others to make future adjustments, and puts YOU in control!

Installing the tune from the Predator is as easy as 4 simple steps...

Plug the tuner into the service port and select "Performance" from the main menu.

Select the octane level of the fuel that you will be running in the vehicle.

At the next screen select "Modify" and then select "C&L Intake Assembly" from the menu.

Hit "escape" and the tuner will ask if you want to install. Select "yes" and the rest is done automatically!

Notice the dyno chart provided to us by Diablosport testing our inlet assembly and development of the 2005-06 capable Predator. This chart shows the actual HP and Torque gain realized from the installation of our air intake system only, with no tuning adjustments made to increase timing or fine-tune the air/fuel ratio. With adjustments for the higher octane fuel, you can expect to see a respectable horsepower gain above and beyond what is shown in the enclosed graph. If you already have another filter kit installed on your vehicle and would like to purchase our inlet pipe separately (which shows a 5-6 HP improvement with no tuning adjustmens necessary) it is available for $159, (Click Here) but we cannot guarantee exact filter shroud fit quality when using one sourced from another company. If you choose to purchase the intake system without the Predator tuner, we strongly reccomend that you have the vehicle tuned in person on the dyno by a competent shop.
