May 29th, 2008 12:28 am - Page 30-00 is up... sort of. Apparently the php decided that it doesn't like the number 30, and only likes the number 3, so it won't display the page properly. At least I can't figure out what it's doing or why, so 30-00 is now masquerading as "29-19." Well, whatever. This just confirms the necessity of my next statement.

I AM GOING ON HIATUS FOR THE SUMMER.

I'm going to convert the site over to a CMS [content management system] that will do automated updates, etc. I'm also going to finish coloring the earlier pages and make them all larger and convert to jpgs. Hopefully I will be able to get ahead a few chapters, because for the last few months I've been doing all the pages the night before, which blows, let me tell you. I'll also be taking some classes over the summer, generally reorganizing and getting my life back together, etc., in order to make a more coherent return in the fall. I'm not giving a precise date since I don't know precisely when I'll be properly prepared yet. If you would like to be informed as soon as the site starts updating again, I suggest you make use of one of the many tools I've created for that purpose (if you have not already done so) -- such as friending this Live Journal, subscribing to the LJ RSS, subscribing to the comic RSS, adding Crowfeathers to your OnlineComics favorites, or joining the forum.

Go out and do something fun this summer, and come back this fall with a good tan.

I suppose I'll go ahead and announce that Justin's series, Lawn Darts, [illustrated & coded by me] is up and running now, more or less. I don't know what the update schedule is going to be yet, but there's at least one page up now, and everything on the site is functional, or at least it was when I finished messing with it. Let us know what you think, etc.

I realized the music folder was missing on the new host, so I uploaded the midis. If you go to the Downloads section, you can play midi versions of all the songs referenced in the comic.
